Estate Sale?

I went to an estate sale for the first time today, and I kind of had a creepy feeling the whole time. It was inside someones house, everything in there had a price tag on it, even the food, and all of her clothes in the closet. It just felt so strange to me, it was just how the person (who died I assume) had everything in her house, and now everyone was coming in her house and sorting thru all of her stuff. I felt so weird...my friend did too and we got out of there. Are all estate sales like that?
